Udaan Youth Club, affiliated with MYBharat, was founded on a powerful belief: awareness is not a privilege but a shared responsibility. Based in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, Udaan uses the potential of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to inspire civic action, nurture ethical awareness, and turn the ideals of peace, sustainability, and human dignity into lived experiences for young people. Under the leadership of UP State Youth Awardee Aman Kumar, the organization empowers youth to grow into thoughtful, responsible changemakers — not just informed, but engaged. Its approach is rooted in community and reaches toward the world, proving that meaningful change can begin anywhere and belong to everyone.

 
About the Program

The “Dear Youth of the World” Global Postcard Writing Contest 2025 is a unique international initiative by Udaan Youth Club, launched to mark International Youth Day. This campaign invites individuals from across the globe to pause and reflect on the importance of youth in shaping our shared future. Through the simple yet powerful act of writing a postcard addressed to the youth of the world, participants are encouraged to express messages of belief, encouragement, responsibility, and vision. The goal is to spark global dialogue and solidarity across generations and cultures, reminding young people everywhere that their voices matter, their potential is real, and their journeys are seen and supported.

The contest is open to individuals of all professions and backgrounds—students, educators, scientists, doctors, artists, journalists, engineers, farmers, lawyers, government officials, NGO leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers—anyone who believes in the power of youth to transform the world. By participating, contributors become part of a growing global movement that seeks to reaffirm our collective commitment to youth empowerment through creative expression. The initiative follows the overwhelming success of Udaan’s previous “Dear Mother Nature” postcard campaign, which resonated deeply with participants worldwide.

This year’s theme focuses on celebrating youth not just as the leaders of tomorrow but as vital contributors to today’s world. Each submitted postcard will be creatively transformed into a visual message and published across Udaan Youth Club’s platforms, helping spread positivity and insight far beyond geographic boundaries. Every message has the potential to uplift, and even a single postcard can create a ripple of encouragement that inspires a young person somewhere in the world. The contest is a heartfelt opportunity to contribute meaningfully to global youth dialogue through words that uplift and empower.

 
Benefits:

1. Shortlisted postcards will be featured on UYC's official social media platforms and website, providing participants with an opportunity to gain recognition for their creative efforts.
2. All published postcard participants will receive a certificate of participation signed by UYC President SR Aman Kumar.
3. Outstanding participants, whose postcards receive notable engagement, will be invited to share their ideas and experiences in the International Youth Day special video series.
4. All participants will be featured in a special photo collage, which will be launched on the eve of International Youth Day 2025, celebrating their collective commitment to youth empowerment.

Eligibility: The contest is open to citizens from all countries around the world, irrespective of their backgrounds and demographics.

 
Instructions:

• The postcard message should start with "Dear Youth of the World".
• The postcard message should be written in 75–100 words.
• Write your message in any language you prefer.
• Ensure the postcard content is original (not AI-generated).
• Participants can draw inspiration from UYC's official website or social media channels where shortlisted postcards will be published regularly.
• The organizing team will creatively design and publish your postcard message as a visual post on official social media channels, and the link will be shared with you via email.

Timeline:

• Launch Date: 28th July 2025
• Submission Deadline: 11th August 2025
• Publication: All shortlisted postcards will be published within 48 hours of submission.
• Photo Collage and Video Series Submission: 10th–11th August 2025
• Launching of Photo Collage and Video Series: 12th August 2025 (International Youth Day)
• Distribution of Participation Certificates: 12th August 2025 (via email)

Open Call for Collaboration

We welcome collaboration proposals from schools, colleges, universities, NGOs, youth clubs, societies, government departments, and youth networks. Organizations/institutions that successfully mobilize 100 or more participants will receive an Impact Partners Appreciation Certificate and have their names featured in the campaign’s impact report. We invite institutions and organizations to seize this opportunity to show their commitment to youth empowerment.
