The "Responsible Citizenship & Unity Quiz 2.0 on Digvijay Diwas" is an annual online educational initiative organized by Udaan Youth Club to observe Digvijay Diwas and to honor the enduring legacy of Swami Vivekananda. This commemorative event marks the anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s historic address at the Parliament of the World's Religions in Chicago in 1893—an address that continues to resonate across generations as a landmark call for intercultural dialogue, fraternity among nations, and the spirit of global citizenship.

 

This initiative seeks to strengthen awareness about the historic significance of the day, while fostering responsible citizenship, national unity, and the values of sustainable development, in harmony with the principles of peace, mutual understanding, and collective progress.

About the Organization

Udaan Youth Club, a MYBharat-affiliated youth initiative led by Uttar Pradesh State Youth Awardee Aman Kumar, embodies the transformative potential of young people in shaping a more equitable and sustainable future. Utilizing innovative digital platforms and Information and Communication Technology, the Club mobilizes youth and communities worldwide to engage critically with pressing environmental, social, and cultural challenges.

Through flagship campaigns such as Dear Mother Nature Postcard Writing, Believe in Youth Letter Campaign, Dear Youth of the World, and Biodiversity Begins with You, alongside the commemoration of globally significant days, Udaan cultivates a sense of shared responsibility, intercultural dialogue, and collective action in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

 
About the Program

The quiz forms an integral part of Digvijay Mahotsav, an initiative to pay tribute to Swami Vivekananda’s transformative vision of harmony, unity, and ethical leadership. It engages participants in reflecting upon their roles as responsible citizens and active contributors to peaceful and sustainable societies. In this way, the program combines India’s heritage of spiritual humanism with the global values of cooperation, inclusion, and integrity that underpin a culture of peace.
Collaboration Invitation

Udaan Youth Club also extends an open call for collaboration by inviting institutions, civil society organizations, and individuals to join as Impact Partners. By mobilizing participation for the quiz, partners can support the educational mission of cultivating informed, engaged, and globally conscious citizens. Referrals of at least 100 participants will be formally acknowledged with a Certificate of Appreciation, issued by the President of Udaan Youth Club.
